We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the 2nd International Conference on Rigveda and Himalaya (ICRH-024), held on December 7–8, 2024, at Gandaki Pragya Pratisthan, Pokhara. With the special theme “Culture and Tourism,” the conference brought together a vibrant community of scholars, students, cultural enthusiasts, and professionals to explore the profound connections between Himalayan cultures, Vedic traditions, and the role of tourism in sustainable development.

Building upon the momentum of ICRH-023, this year’s conference featured:

  • Over 30 paper presentations by national and international researchers

  • Keynote and plenary sessions led by renowned scholars in the fields of Vedic studies, anthropology, and heritage tourism

  • Panel discussions on topics including spiritual ecology, cultural preservation, and the future of sustainable tourism in the Himalayas

  • A strong participation of young researchers and students, contributing fresh perspectives to academic and cultural dialogues
